Trump's rhetoric is partly to blame for a man's plot to bomb Muslim refugees, his lawyer says

Patrick Eugene Stein hatched a plot to kill Somali refugees in 2016 by blowing up an apartment complex. Now his lawyer is asking for leniency, arguing that a judge consider the "backdrop" of the case: Donald Trump's polarizing rhetoric.
